Order a Brick for the Reading Garden Path

We are now taking orders for our spring brick installation. Hurry, the deadline is Tuesday, April 30. You can order here.

Honor a special person or occasion, memorialize a loved one, or recognize an organization or business with a personalized, engraved brick that will be installed in the library’s Reading Garden Path. With a gift of $75, you can personalize a 4” x 8” brick with three lines of up to 13 characters per line. A gift of $150 allows you to personalize an 8” x 8” brick with six lines of up to 13 characters per line. If you are ordering a brick as a gift, please provide the gift recipient’s information, and we will send them a notification. Duplicate bricks can be ordered as a keepsake for half price.

Thank You “Fore” Your Support!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Foundation & Friends “Putter Around the Library” fundraiser on March 10. We had so much fun turning the library into a mini golf course and a wonderful time watching you play and have fun with your family and friends.

This event would not be possible without our generous sponsors. We are so grateful for your support.

We can’t wait to play mini-golf in the library on March 9 from noon to 3 p.m. during our Putter Around the Library event. It’s family-friendly and only $5 a golfer. All proceeds benefit the library’s foundation.

We wouldn’t be able to have a “fun”-raiser without our “hole” sponsors.

Shop at Whole Foods; Support the Library

Reusing your bags at Whole Foods Market means a donation to Indian Prairie Public Library.

Now through March 31, Whole Foods Market in Willowbrook has designated Indian Prairie Public Library as the recipient of a 10-cent donation for every reusable bag used during checkout.

Over the three-month fundraising period, those dimes can really add up.

Grab your shopping list, head to Whole Foods in Willowbrook, and take your bags. Tell them at the register you’d like to donate your bag refund to the library.
