Thank you for supporting IPPL Foundation & Friends

Last year . . .

More than 400,000 of you visited the Indian Prairie Public Library.

You checked out 644,000 materials.
We answered 93,000 of your reference questions.
You logged over 40,000 hours of computer use.
We delivered 1,800 items to homebound residents who couldn’t visit us in person.
Nearly 30,000 enjoyed library programs to learn something new.
None of this would be possible without you.
Help us to reach even more of your friends and neighbors by donating to the Indian Prairie Public Library Foundation. Any gift can be directed for a special purpose like helping the library purchase new books, new technology, or fund children’s programs.
The Indian Prairie Public Library Foundation & Friends and Friends is a 501(c)3 corporation; your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
For more information about making a gift to the library, contact the library’s Administration Office at 630/887-0945 or make a donation online here.

Summer Challenges: Fun for All Ages

This summer, the library is once again providing summer challenges for school-age kids and teens to prevent the “summer slide,” the loss of academic skills and knowledge that takes place over the summer. But the library has fun summer challenges for adults and pre-K kids, too!

This year’s activities include a Summer Math Challenge, Coding Camp, Robotics Camp, Science Lab, Garden Lab in the Prairie Patch, Kindergarten Bootcamp, plus a variety of events for the whole family.

The library’s Summer Challenges are supported by the IPPL Foundation & Friends.
