Honorary & Tribute Gifts

Honorary and tribute gifts are a thoughtful way to pay tribute to someone you care about or express your sympathy. They are also a great way to give someone a personalized, one-of-a-kind gift. There are several ways to honor a special person or occasion, memorialize a loved one, recognize a business or organization, or have your name become a lasting part of the library:
- Donate $25 and add your name or that of someone you care about to a library book. We'll put a special bookplate inside the library book of your choice.
- Purchase a personalized, engraved brick for the library's Reading Garden. With a gift of $75, you can personalize a 4" x 8" brick with three lines. A gift of $150 allows you to personalize an 8" x 8" brick with up to six lines. Duplicate bricks can be ordered as a keepsake for half-price.
- Add a leaf or stone to the library’s Donor Tree. The tree of commemorative leaves and stones is located near the first floor lobby by the DVD and CD collections. A leaf on the tree can be purchased for $250. Stones at the base of the tree can also be purchased—a small stone is $1,500 and a large boulder is $5,000.
